It was intended as a legislative method of preventing discrimination; however, despite the Act, estimates from the Office for National Statistics suggest the pay gap currently stands at 19.2% for full and part-time workers within the UK. This means that women, on average, earn around 80p for every £1 earned by men. In order to address this, from 6th April 2017, regulations will require all organisations of 250 or more employees to provide and publish annual statistics relating to the pay of men and women in their employment, starting in April 2018 for the previous year. Here at Sidekicks, we are highly attuned to our market and have deep knowledge of its regulatory processes. We are incredibly proud to announce ourselves as the first 'ethical' recruiter in London, pioneering the introduction of gender and ethnicity blind CVs. Our aim in doing this is for us to ensure that potential employees are hired solely upon their skills and experience, rather than allowing biases to come into the foreground - essentially levelling the playing field. Additionally, we understand that many of our clients have strict diversity targets built into their hiring practices and PSL criteria, therefore working with us means that they are fulfilling those obligations and can be assured of a diverse candidate base without having to work with multiple agencies all at once. We are interested to know what your thoughts are on ethnicity and gender blind CVs - would you consider incorporating it into your hiring processes?[/cs_text][/cs_column][/cs_row][cs_row id="who-we-are" inner_container="true" marginless_columns="false" style="margin: 0px auto;padding: 0px;"][cs_column fade="false" fade_animation="in" fade_animation_offset="45px" fade_duration="750" type="1/3" style="padding: 0px;"] [/cs_column][cs_column fade="false" fade_animation="in" fade_animation_offset="45px" fade_duration="750" type="1/3" style="padding: 0px;"][x_custom_headline level="h4" looks_like="h4" accent="false" style="pointer-events: none !important;cursor: auto !important;"]Molly Cockram[/x_custom_headline][x_custom_headline level="h5" looks_like="h5" accent="false" style="pointer-events: none !important;cursor: auto !important;"]Talent Manager[/x_custom_headline][x_image type="none" src="http://sidekicks.london/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/Molly-Cockram-Photo.jpg" alt="" link="false" href="#" title="" target="" info="none" info_place="top" info_trigger="hover" info_content="" style="pointer-events: none !important;cursor: auto !important;"][/cs_column][cs_column fade="false" fade_animation="in" fade_animation_offset="45px" fade_duration="750" type="1/3" style="padding: 0px;"] [/cs_column][/cs_row][cs_row inner_container="true" marginless_columns="false" style="margin: 0px auto;padding: 0px;"][cs_column fade="false" fade_animation="in" fade_animation_offset="45px" fade_duration="750" type="1/1" style="padding: 0px;"][cs_text]Molly is a charismatic and unique recruiter with experience in a wide variety of industries ranging from leisure to consultancy, including internal and external recruitment.
